Cette estampe est une copie réduite et en contrepartie de la gravure d'Aubert "Frontispice pour le "Tombeau de Charles Sackville, comte de Dorset" (25506 LR). (P. Jean-Richard, Inventaire général de gravures de l'Ecole française 'L'œuvre gravé de François Boucher dans la Collection Edmond de Rothschild', Paris, 1978, p. 275, n° 1109).
