Commentaire :

Troisième des quatre gravures dédiées à l'histoire de Loth. Conservés à Amsterdam, Basel, Berlin (deux séries, une colorée à la fin du XVIe), Bremen, Brunswick, Cambridge, Cobourg, Dresden, Düsseldorf, Londres, Munich, Munster, Paris, Stuttgart, Vienne, Varsovie, Wolfegg.
Il existe une copie dessinée par un artiste inconnu, plus grande, conservée à Milan (Plassmann 108). D'autres copies existent, une anonyme dans la même direction, une deuxième sur bois par Christoffel van Sichem pour sa Biblia Sacra, fol. 28 et une troisième mentionnée par Schmidt, par le Monogrammiste PM (Peter Maes), en contrepartie, mais non trouvée. (The New Hollstein, 'Heinrich Aldegrever' German engravings, etchings and woodcuts, 1400-1700, p. 36, repr. 16).
