Première des quatre planches consacrées à l'histoire du bon samaritain. Des séries complètes sont conservées à Amsterdam, Basel, Berlin, Brême, Brunswick, Budapest, Cobourg, Dresde (sans la B. 40), Düsseldorf, Londres, Munich, Münster, Paris, Vienne, Varsovie. Il existe une copie anonyme où la lette O de LATRONES a une forme de D. (The New Hollstein, 'Heinrich Aldegrever' German engravings, etchings and woodcuts, 1400-1700, p. 54, repr. 39).
