Commentaire :
Troisième des quatre planches consacrées à l'histoire du bon samaritain. Des séries complètes sont conservées à Amsterdam, Basel, Berlin, Brême, Brunswick, Budapest, Cobourg, Dresde (sans la B. 40), Düsseldorf, Londres, Munich, Münster, Paris, Vienne, Varsovie. Un dessin préparatoire daté de 1554, en contrepartie, est conservé à Brême, daté de 1554 (Plassmann 53). Il existe une copie,avec IMPOSTIUM à la place de IMPOSITUM (The New Hollstein, 'Heinrich Aldegrever' German engravings, etchings and woodcuts, 1400-1700, p. 55, repr. 42).
