Un premier état sans monogramme a été mentionné par C.K. Nagler (Mon. I, 583, 13). D'autres tirages avec le monogramme en haut à droite sont conservés à Berlin, Brême, Cambridge, Dresde, Düsseldorf, Londres, Munich, Varsovie et Vienne. (The New Hollstein, 'Heinrich Aldegrever' German engravings, etchings and woodcuts, 1400-1700, p. 98, repr. 97).
