Cette gravure fait partie d'une série de quatorze plaques sur le thème des vertus et des vices dont les séries complètes sont conservées à Amsterdam, Berlin, Paris, Vienne, Varsovie, Wolfegg. Il existe plusieurs séries de différentes éditions : Brême, Cambridge, Dresde, Londres, Munich et Wolfegg.
Il existe une copie faite par Virgil Solis représentant Thalia (De Jong-De Groot 462.4). (The New Hollstein, 'Heinrich Aldegrever' German engravings, etchings and woodcuts, 1400-1700, p. 104 à 109, repr. 110). B. VIII, p. 397.; Description de l'album :
