Un premier état de cette gravure est conservée à Amsterdam, Basel, Berlin, Brême, Brunswick, Cobourg, Dresde, Düsseldorf, Hambourg, Londres, Munich, Münster, Nuremberg, Paris, Stuttgart, Varsovie et Vienne. Un second état retravaillé avec l'ajout de boutons dans la veste de l'artiste est conservé à Londres, Paris et Varsovie.
John Leonhard Blanck grave dans la même direction une copie qui est utilisée dans Bildnisse berühmter Künstler... Erste Theil, Nünberg 1725. Georg Christian Kilian grave aussi une copie en contrepartie qui illustre l''Allgemeines Künstlerlexicon...mit... Bildnissen in Contorni..' (The New Hollstein, 'Heinrich Aldegrever' German engravings, etchings and woodcuts, 1400-1700, p. 162 et 163, repr. 188).
