Commentaire :
Un premier état de cette gravure est conservée à Amsterdam, Basel, Brême, Brunswick, Budapest, Cambridge, Cobourg, Dresde, Hambourg, Karslruhe, Londres, Munich, Münster, Paris, Stuttgart, Varsovie, Vienne et Wolfegg. Une copie dessinée par un artiste inconnu est conservée à Berlin (Plassmann 128).
Il existe notamment trois copies, l'une par un graveur anonyme, en contrepartie; la deuxième par Simon Frisius en contrepartie, avec le monogramme de Hondius en haut à gauche, et l'ajout de la main droite, ainsi que des figures au fond de la composition; la troisième par Philipp Kilian d'après un dessin de J. von Sandrart, en contrepartie, signée 'J. V. S. del: P. Kilian S.' (The New Hollstein, 'Heinrich Aldegrever' German engravings, etchings and woodcuts, 1400-1700, p. 164 et 165, repr. 189).
