Commentaire :
Blason qui a été identifié avec les armes de la famille Rayser de Souabe (Hans Sebald Beham, The Collection of Prints formed by Gordon Nowell-Ustricke, Christie, Manson & Woods Ltd., vente, Londres, 28 juin 1978,n°138), mais il figure aussi dans celles des Stainlinger de Nuremberg (L 253 LR). H. S. Beham copie cette oeuvre et inclut des variantes (voir L 29 LR/327 et 328). (P. Jean-Richard in 'Ornemanistes du XVe au XVIIe siècle, Gravures et dessins.
