Commentaire :
Blason qui a été identifié avec les armes de la famille Rayser de Souabe (Hans Sebald Beham, The Collection of Prints formed by Gordon Nowell-Ustricke, Christie, Manson & Woods Ltd., vente, Londres, 28 juin 1978,n°138), mais il figure aussi dans celles des Stainlinger de Nuremberg (L 253 LR).
Copie, en contrepartie et avec des variantes, de la gravure de B. Beham L 25 LR/48.
Dans le deuxième état cinq rangs de plumes ont été ajoutés sur la p oitrine du coq (L 29 LR/328).
