Commentaire :
Deuxième planche d'une suite de douze pièces consacrée à la passion (335 LR à 346 LR) inspirée de l'art de Martin Schongauer. Les cuivres retouchés furent utilisés comme illustrations d'un ouvrage sur l'Histoire des souffrances du Christ, publié à Tubingen en 1629 et 1631. Le retable du Saint-Sang de Rothenburg sculpté par Tilman Riemenschneider et représentant l'entrée à Jérusalem, la Cène et le Christ au mont des Oliviers est l'écho de l'oeuvre d'Albert Glockenton. Cette oeuvre a été copiée par le Monogrammiste WH (Bartsch illustré, 1981, 9, p. 411, n°2, repr.). (Vetter et Walz, 1980, p. 60, fig. 17, 18, 20 et 23) (P.
