Commentaire :
Troisième des cinq planches consacrées à la parabole de Lazare et du mauvais riche. Des séries complètes sont conservées à Amsterdam, Basel, Berlin, Brême, Budapest, Cambridge, Cobourg, Dresde, Londres, Munich, Nuremberg, Paris, Vienne, Varsovie. Il existe une copie dessinée conservée à Stuttgart. Une copie anonyme, avec des différences dans le texte est gravée dans le même sens que cette planche. (The New Hollstein, 'Heinrich Aldegrever' German engravings, etchings and woodcuts, 1400-1700, p. 59 et 61, repr. 46).
